For vehicles manufactured in 2012 or later to qualify for higher pricing, they must start, run, and have a valid MOT. These vehicles are also subject to inspection.

How is my car collected?

Can I drop off my car?

Certainly! If you choose to bring your car to our yard, along with the necessary paperwork and identification, we offer an upto additional £50.

Please be aware that valuations provided on our website are subject to inspection upon your arrival. If your vehicle is a 2012 model or newer, it must start, run, and possess a valid MOT to qualify for higher pricing.

What identification is required?

We accept the following forms of photo identification:

- Valid UK passport
- Valid passport issued by a European Economic Area state
- Valid UK biometric immigration document

Accepted proof of address (no older than 3 months):

1. Credit or debit card statement
2. Bank or building society statement
3. Council tax statement or demand letter
4. Utility bill (e.g., gas, electricity, water), excluding mobile phone bills

When will my car be collected?

Upon completing the online form, we will contact you to arrange a convenient collection time. On the day of collection, we will notify you when our driver is en route.

How and when do I receive payment for my car?

Payments are processed through bank transfer or cheque. We collect your payment details when arranging the vehicle's collection. Typically, payment is made within 24 business hours.

If your vehicle is collected on a Friday afternoon, the payment may not be credited to your account until Monday. Please allow 24 business hours for bank transfers to process. Please note that we cannot provide cash payments for scrap vehicles due to legal restrictions under the Scrap Metal Dealers Act in England and Wales.

If my car is collected on a Friday afternoon, when can I expect payment?

In some cases, your payment may not be credited until Monday. If it has not arrived by Tuesday, please contact us.

What happens to my car after collection?

Your car undergoes recycling. If the vehicle remains roadworthy, we may attempt to find a buyer for it. If the car is unsuitable for reuse, we salvage usable parts and sell them. The remainder of the car is recycled in our authorized treatment facility and converted into scrap metal.

If you are scrapping the vehicle as part of a Scrappage Scheme, please inform us accordingly.
